While on a residency in The Burren, Ballyvaughan, County Clare , Ireland, I traveled to Newtown Castle. Once inside, we learned that the floor was made of fossilized worms. I rolled out a long piece of rice paper, the size of the diameter of the castle, and did an old fashioned "rubbing". Once I captured the worms I worked back into the drawing. 16' 4" is probably too long for anyone's wall, so I sliced it into six 32" sections.
