Academic Work

2008-2000

 

During this time in my life, it was important for me to refine my technical skills. I studied at Studio Incamminati, the Florence Academy of Art, Laguna College of Art, PAFA, SACI Italy, and took classes with Jeremy Lipking while in California.

I still didn't know what my "voice" was, so I decided to go to graduate school to try to figure it out.

Although I was awarded a full scholarship to IUP in Pennsylvania, I didn't want to quit my job as a high school art teacher, so I decided to enroll in the low res MFA Studio Art program at Moore College of Art in 2009.
